The Great Pyrenees Crossing is an exceptional route that takes you from the Mediterranean sea to the Atlantic ocean… and back!

The first half of the route goes from Collioure to Saint-Jean-de-Luz and invites you to explore the Spanish side of the Pyrenees. From the Sierra de Cadi to the Hecho Valley through Aragon, Navarre, and finally the Basque Country, you pedal on beautiful roads up legendary mountain passes and along ancient monasteries and picturesque villages. You start the French section of the route in Saint-Jean-de-Luz. Historic mountain passes, high peaks, forests, and vineyards line this section before the grand finish on the beaches of the Mediterranean coast. 

Along the way, you’ll have time to discover the region's remarkable food and wine heritage. Paella, arros nègre, Aragon suckling lamb, Terruel ham, piperade, Ossau cheeses… food stops will be 100% authentic!
