With lookout tower in Afferden. Ideally with the cyclocrosser or gravel bike, preferably with wider tires because of the deep sand passages. Several abbreviations possible, or in general: keep to the west ;-)
Update 15.09.2018: way back now more on the Maas. Some paths became heavily sandy due to the very dry summer, here now with the easier variant. With enough rain it can look different. The shallow lakes like Heerenven are all currently dry.
