Très belle portion du GR3, marquée par une exceptionnelle richesse patrimoniale, parcourue en 4 jours avec une première nuit en camping à Azay, suivie de deux nuits en bivouac, en forêt d'Azay et en forêt de Fontevraud. Visite des châteaux d'Azay et de Chinon et de l'abbaye de Fontevraud. La trace respecte le balisage actuel du GR3. Peut-être un peu trop de bitume par moments (petites routes, nombreux villages, piste cyclable)
